      Hello everyone.

We recently found a bug in the latest version of Templater (3.3.2) that could cause issues when loading remotely hosted footage if Templater is installed on a non-system drive on Windows OS platforms.

We are currently working on a fix that should be implemented in the next release of Templater. In the meantime, this issue can be resolved by moving the Templater installation to the main system drive.

Additionally, the issue can also be fixed by copying the C:\ProgramData\Dataclay folder to a “ProgramData” folder created on the drive that holds After Effects. So, for example, if After Effects was installed on the D:\ drive, we’d want to create a new folder called “ProgramData” in the drive root and then copy the “Dataclay” folder from C:\ProgramData\Dataclay to D:\ProgramData\Dataclay. This should allow Templater to run from a non-system drive and still be able to use remotely hosted assets.

If you encounter this issue and cannot resolve it using one of the previously posted methods, please feel free to contact us at support@dataclay.com.

      Thank You,

      Jeff
