Automatically insert commas for numbers AND have quotes around numbers with commas around commas removed

Hello,
When I insert a comma in a number, say, 1,000. It appears as “1,000” in After Effects. How do I remove those commas? Is it in the tsv excel file? Or a script in After Effects?

@Steve I’m not clear on the question you are asking. Could you explain more in depth what is and isn’t happening, and what you are trying to make happen?
