      Hello,

      We are configuring one of our projects as a team project, but when we want to replicate with templater it ask us to open a AE project or save current one (that it is obviusly done)

      are we doing something wrong, or templater is not working on Team projects.

      thanks for the support

        @rgutierrez

        Unfortunately, at the moment, Templater is incompatible with After Effects Team Projects. When an .aep is converted to a Team Project, the file is fundamentally altered in a way that removes most of its local access properties. This causes Templater to be unable to read it correctly, resulting in the error message you described.

        We have plans to look into potential support for Team Projects in the future, but it’s probably not something that will be implemented any time soon. At the moment, the only real solution is to convert the project to a local file before using Templater.

        Hopefully, that clears things up, but please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions.

        Thanks!

          @jeff thanks for your detailed answer.
          So currently, the only way is to work in a team project, is to convert to local before Templaer, and then import the resulting project to a new team project.

          Brobably is not worth the mess, as a project becomes big enough to require a team project, this could be messy.

          We will try to find other ways of colaborating in big projects.

          thanks!
