      Hi,

Is it possible to trigger a zap whenever a job’s status changes to done? I don’t want it to trigger for any other state? It looks like I can trigger when there is a job status change, but then I can’t figure out how to filter out only jobs who’s status has changed to done.

      Pete

This should absolutely be possible. We’ll just need to add a Filter step after the initial Trigger.

For this scenario, we’d start by adding a Trigger for “Updated Job in Dataclay QUE.” Once that’s tested and working correctly, we’ll want to click the plus sign between the Trigger and Action phases and add a Filter.

In the Filter Setup, we’ll want to change “Only continue if…” to check the Job Render Status field for an Exact Text Match of “done” (with no quotes). This should ensure that the subsequent Action will only kick off if those specific requirements are met.

I believe that the creation of Multi-step Zaps like the one described above requires a subscription with Zapier, but outside of that, it should be smooth sailing.

Let us know if you run into any issues or have any other questions.

        Thanks,

        Jeff

Thanks for the info. I’m familiar with the Filter action in Zapier and will try that out. I was expecting that we’d need to use a Que action.

          Thanks.
